Track of the Week, Part 2: Kim Walker, How He Loves Us

I have never met a person in my life that didn't listen to music. I remember when I would spend a lot of time with my closest friends, a subject that never failed to surface was music. We would always talk about what music we had been listening to recently.

While we were all sitting in Ryan Roger's bedroom, we would plug in our laptops into his stereo and play our favorite songs for each other. After a while, our musical preferences became very similar! I miss those days, and listening to certain songs can bring back memories of my life and people that I shared my time with.

So I continue my search for awesome music! This is week 2 of my newest hobby "Track of the Week!"

I chose this track in celebration of the Jr. High Vineyard. This was their favorite song of the weekend, and it has such a powerful message! I'm certain that this song will bring back memories for them in the future.

Originally written by John Mark McMillan, this song seems to be spreading like wildfire through the Christian community. It has been taken up by major worship leaders like Kim Walker and even David Crowder.

The song proclaims the simple yet mysterious truth witnessed through creation, the Cross, and our promised eternity: The love of God for mankind.

Music makes memories, so have a listen! :D

Track of the Week, Part 1: Hillsong United, Stronger

So I'm starting a new hobby! I'm sure most of you love music as much as I do. I'm always looking for music that is inspirational and moving. Sometimes I find it in a rap song, pop song, or rock song. Other times I find it in movie scores from some of the most talented modern composers.

However, the majority of the music I enjoy would be considered Christian based in lyric. Christian or Biblical lyrics are what inspire me the most. Even so, I will periodically select a secular song for the week because some of them really do get me thinking.

So anyway, introducing my newest hobby: Track of the Week!

You can send any requests to me via personal message and I will check them out! Please respond with what comes to mind when you hear the song.

Here is the song for this week, one of my personal favorites!
